Kirra Hill Community Centre Gold Coast

With one of the most magical views of the Gold Coast, Kirra Hill Community Centre situated next to the iconic Kirra Lookout in Coolangatta, is one of the Gold Coast’s best garden wedding venues the Gold Coast has to offer.

Kate and Brett-4

Although they had originally booked Pat Fagan Park, maintenance work meant Kate and Brett had to find a new location for their garden ceremony. If there was any venue that could take it’s place Kirra Hill Community Centre is it!

Kirra Hill Arch

Our couple chose our Enchanted Forest Arch with an elegant twist of pastel coloured flowers. Jars of babies breath and fresh flowers hanging on shepherds hooks lined an aisle of fresh rose petals.

Coolangatta Wedding

Our bride Kate looked absolutely stunning in a Grace Loves Lace dress while our groom Brett perfectly complimented her in a tailored blue suit.

It was a windy day up on the hill, but that didn’t stop the smiles on our couple’s faces during the beautiful ceremony conducted by Celebrant Marg Walgers.

We wish our gorgeous couple a life of love and happiness.

With the choice of holding your ceremony in either their quaint wedding chapel or amongst the trees in the manicured gardens, you will not be disappointed with either option!

For their August wedding, our couple Renae and Mafe chose a garden ceremony which provided the perfect backdrop for an elegant white arch with simple floral arrangements and white draping.

The arch was perfectly complimented by the venues ivory chairs and pedestal floral arrangements.

Our welcome blackboard greeted the guests before they took the walk down the purpose built aisle to take their seat to await the bride.

Coolibah Downs Private Estate

White Arch with Floral Train and Rose Petal Aisle

Although Coolibah Downs offers many ceremony locations, the croquet lawn in front of the onsite homestead provided the perfect setting for the garden ceremony featuring our single white arch with signature white floral train.

Ammie wanted the ceremony to be predominantly white with hints of coral, reds and pinks to compliment the bridesmaids in their flowing peach gowns.

The white arch and white kissing balls lined the aisle while coral sashes were used on covered chairs provided by the venue.

A mixed fresh rose petal aisle was the perfect alternatively to an aisle runner as the highlight of the lush green grass accentuated the gorgeous added colour.

North Burleigh Beach Wedding

Let us show you through Sarah and Jaison’s elegant beach wedding at North Burleigh Beach on Saturday 18th April 2015. It was a gorgeous, sun filled afternoon at the North Burleigh Beach wedding for our couple who tied the knot in front of all their family and friends under our four post bamboo canopy; romantically and elegantly styled with white chiffon, silk flowers in a mix of purple tones and finished with black sashes. Sarah chose black sashes to match her bridesmaids dresses. Purple flowers were placed on the arch and on chairs along the aisle to compliment the girls bouquets. But not everything was about elegance, our bamboo aisle runner was used to keep that authentic beach feel and character which perfectly tied together with our bamboo canopy to give a feel of beach class.

Winter Gold Coast Weddings?? Why this is the best time of the year to get married!

We love Winter Gold Coast Weddings at Circle of Love. From the perfect weather to the ideal winter wedding styling. Winter weddings have so much to offer.

During the colder months of winter, weddings become less popular but why when winter on the Gold Coast has so much to offer. Apart from a minor drop in temperature there’s little reason to avoid a winter wedding. Here we give you ten great reasons why you should get married in winter.

1. Less chance of rain.

One of the biggest fears brides face is rain on their wedding day. However, during winter in Australia, there is less chance of rain than there is during the popular wedding months.

2. Choice of venue.

There’s no need to wait 12 or even 18 months for your perfect venue to become available. Having a wedding in winter will allow you more flexibility to choose your ideal wedding venue.

3. Good lighting.

Winter provides perfect lighting for photographs and filming, which means you’ll walk away with some beautiful snap shots, minus the squinting and sunburn!

4. Venue and supplier discounts.

Winter is a notoriously slow period for wedding venues and suppliers so they are often more than happy to offer couples a great discount.

5. Flower staying power.

Flowers last longer in the colder weather which means your floral arrangements will maintain their form throughout the big day.

6. Perfect conditions for a lunchtime wedding.

Those perfect, fine, dry days are the perfect ingredients for hosting an outdoor lunchtime wedding ceremony and reception.

7. Boys don’t sweat it.

Your groom and groomsmen are more likely to be comfortable (and sweat-free) in their formal attire during the cooler months.

8. Avoid makeup meltdowns.

The high humidity in the summer months can often cause makeup to melt away before your very eyes. A cooler winter day will leave your face looking fresh and flawless for longer.

9. Ideal tropical honeymoon weather.

Avoid the cyclonic island weather and book your honeymoon on a tropical island in winter!

10. Your choice of dates.

Unlike summer when everyone is rushing to get married, winter opens up a whole lot more choices. Not only will suppliers have more availability in their winter schedule, but so too will your guests.

In general, while winter may be a tad tricky in other countries where snow and blizzards are inevitable, Australia is known for its mild wintery days. So benefit from the low off-season prices and greater options that come with a winter wedding.
